According to the color of the eyes: Which women more easily bear the birth pains?

The latest research shows that eye color can reveal how much your threshold of pain tolerance will be at the time of delivery. So, who are the most gender-friendly?

According to the results of a recent survey, eye color is an indication of how well you deal with pain, negative emotions, or anxiety.

For this purpose, researchers from the University of Pittsburgh watched 58 pregnant women (white skin), concluding that women with strong eyes – in blue or green color – are better tolerating pain during work.

In contrast, dark-eyed pregnant women experienced greater relief after receiving epidural anesthesia, suggesting that their tolerance threshold was lower.

At the same time, mothers with blue eyes are less likely to develop symptoms of anxiety and postpartum depression compared to mothers who have darker eye color.

Although further research is needed to determine the factors behind such correlations, it is assumed to be genetics. A further investigation should include a greater number of women, including those who are not pregnant.

Of course, the pattern is relatively small, so color and eyes accept the results with a dose of reserve.
